# What's new

> Changes to X-Buddy that you can see — newest first. The VPS agent updates itself; nothing here needs you to reinstall.

Newest changes first. Each entry lists only what you can see or use. To check whether the service is running right now, open [Service status](/status).

## 25 October 2026 — Faster everywhere {#2026-10-25-faster}

- Every page needs about half as much code to download as before.
- The sign-in page downloads only your language's text — about a sixth of what it did before. Switching language shows that it is loading and tells you if the network fails.
- Pages you open while signed in start loading their data sooner, and switching between pages is quicker. Lists refresh less often while nothing changes, and at once when something does.
- The Overview and account pages no longer jump around while they load: content appears in its final place the first time.
- Fixed: creating another workspace from the account menu now opens the new workspace (it used to go back to the previous one).
- The activity log stays fast on workspaces with a long history.
- Your VPS agent talks to X-Buddy with fewer round trips, and reports how long each stage of a job took. It updates itself (version 1.24.0).
- Calls from AI apps (MCP) and the REST API answer faster. See [Request history](/docs/en/rest-api#request-history) for how calls are recorded.
- The [Service status](/status) page appears at once; see [Service status](/docs/en/concepts#service-status).
- X-Buddy now measures its own speed for real visitors, without personal data. See [Speed data](/docs/en/concepts#speed-data).

## 24 October 2026 — Vietnamese and English {#2026-10-24-languages}

- The whole website and the agent window on your VPS now work in Vietnamese and English. Your first visit follows your browser's language; switch any time with the language button, and your choice is saved to your profile.
- Alerts, job reasons and activity entries show in the reader's language, even when they were recorded earlier in the other one. Telegram messages use the workspace's language.
- A public help center: getting started, guides, a page for every screen, the full operation reference and every error code. Each page also has a plain Markdown copy, and AI agents can start from `/llms.txt`.
- AI apps connected over MCP can search and read this help center with `docs_search` and `docs_read`.
- A public [Service status](/status) page shows whether the website, the database, the newest VPS agent release and the API are working.

## 24 October 2026 — Import many X accounts at once {#2026-10-24-account-import}

- Import X accounts in bulk from a text file. You decide what each column is and in which order, and you see a preview before anything is saved. See [Import X accounts](/docs/en/import-accounts).
- Rows that can't be imported as they are go to a separate list where you fix or discard them — nothing is guessed.
- Saved sign-in details are encrypted on X-Buddy's servers and can never be viewed again, only replaced. Saving them does not mean X-Buddy uses them, and does not prove which X account they belong to.

## 23 October 2026 — Safer results and recovery {#2026-10-23-safer-results}

- When X-Buddy can't confirm on X whether an action happened, it checks X again by reading only — up to 3 times in 30 minutes — and asks you only if it still can't tell. It never sends the action again on its own. See [Unknown outcomes](/docs/en/troubleshooting#unknown-outcomes).
- Campaigns: a person whose step couldn't be verified moves to **Needs review** instead of continuing. Messages are sent exactly as you wrote them; when a template field has no value for a person, that person waits instead of receiving a broken message.
- Contacts: one person per X ID, even when a handle changes owner. You can merge two profiles after a preview, and erasing a person's data shows progress for every place it is stored.
- Playbooks show a preview for each X account before you apply them.
- Each X account has a state history: who or what changed it, and when.
- VPS agent updates are signed and checked before they install; a broken update rolls back by itself.
- On phones, the inbox reply box stays above the keyboard.

## 21 October 2026 — AI agents and the API {#2026-10-21-ai-and-api}

- Connect AI apps over MCP, or use API keys with the REST API. Every operation follows the role of the person who created the connection, and you can pause or revoke a connection at any time. See [Connect an AI agent](/docs/en/connect-ai-agent).
- Webhooks send events to your own address, with automatic retries and manual redelivery. See [Webhooks & events](/docs/en/webhooks-and-events).
- Many more X actions: lists, direct messages with attachments, replies, quotes and sharing posts by message.
