Playbooks
Ready-made and custom sets of tasks you apply to many X accounts at once, with a preview and a receipt for every X account.
A playbook is a saved set of tasks. Apply it to several X accounts and each one gets its own copy of the tasks.
Start from a template
X-Buddy includes suggested playbooks. Use Copy to edit to make your own version, or Create playbook to start empty, then Add task. A playbook needs at least one task. Copying a template doesn't run anything.
Apply to X accounts
- Open the playbook and choose the X accounts (or a group).
- Review the preview for each X account.
- Apply.
Each X account gets a durable receipt: applied, not applied (with the reason), or changed since the preview (the X account changed after you previewed, so it was skipped). Applying the same request twice returns the same receipts instead of adding tasks twice. Recent receipts are listed on the playbook.
Growth tasks arrive Off
Growth tasks in a playbook are added Off: "Growth — added as Off; enable it in the X account’s Automation tab after previewing." See Growth automations.
Copies, not links
Applying copies the tasks. Editing the playbook later doesn't change X accounts it was already applied to — apply it again, or edit the X account's tasks.
