Posts & schedule
Write posts and threads with media, make per-account versions, save drafts, schedule them, and what happens when a post is late.
Post schedule is where you write, schedule and track posts for your X accounts.
Write a post
- A post can be a single post or a thread of several parts, with images or video.
- Choose the X accounts that publish it. Use Versions by X account to give each X account its own wording.
- Preview shows how it will look. Save draft keeps it without a time; drafts appear under Unscheduled drafts.
Media limits: JPG, PNG and WEBP up to 5 MB, GIF up to 15 MB, MP4 and MOV up to 50 MB.
Schedule
Give the post a date and time to schedule it. On the calendar, drag a scheduled post to another day to move it (it keeps its time), or double-click a day to write a post for that date.
A scheduled time is when the post becomes due, not a guarantee: like every job, it waits for the X account's run hours, limits and safety. A post that is still not published 6 hours after its scheduled time is marked failed (missed) instead of being posted late; you can reschedule it.
Threads that stop halfway
If a thread stops after some parts are published, it resumes after the last published part — it doesn't post the beginning again.
Drafts on X
Drafts you save in X-Buddy stay in X-Buddy. Drafts saved inside X itself are separate; X-Buddy can read and delete those but doesn't sync its own drafts into X.
